Joe Michalenko has been in the landscaping trade for over 18 years, starting out in Vancouver working on award-winning multi-million dollar landscapes. Joe learned to start landscaping from a team of professionals, and learned what it takes to operate a successful operation. He started Black Dog in memory of his black dog George, to always remember and never be forgotten. Joe has said on numerous occasions that his sole goal isn’t to make it rich, it’s to build a successful team, to create a family environment within the organization, and to give his customers the quality and affordability they can trust for years and years to come.
